Keep the Water Moving

Your gutters have one job: carry rainwater off the roof and away from your home. When they fill up with pine needles, leaves, juniper berries, seed pods and dirt, the water has nowhere to go. In an Arizona monsoon, that means water pouring over the edge and soaking your stucco, fascia, foundation and landscaping, and over time that leads to rot, stains and costly water damage.

We scoop out every bit of debris by hand, bag it, and haul it away. Then we go a step further: once the debris is gone, we flush the gutters with water to wash away the dirt and mud left behind, so the water runs clean all the way to the downspouts. If you have gutter guards, we lift them, clean underneath, and set them back in place.

While we're up there, we keep an eye out for problems and can handle basic repairs to damaged gutter sections. We reattach loose or sagging gutters, replace bent or missing hangers, reseal leaky seams and end caps, and reconnect downspouts that have pulled apart. If a section is too far gone, we'll let you know before it fails.

Downspout Cleaning

Debris doesn't just collect in the open gutter. It washes down into the downspouts, where it can pack into a solid plug of mud, needles and leaves. One clogged downspout backs up the whole run, so clearing them is a key part of every gutter cleaning we do.

We run a hose through each downspout to make sure it drains freely. If it's clogged, we seal the hose into the opening and turn the water up to full pressure to push the blockage out. Stubborn clogs get cleared by hand or with a plumbing snake, and we test again until the water flows straight through.
