Bistro and String Lights

Hung Right, Built to Last

Nothing sets the mood over a patio, pool or backyard like a canopy of bistro lights, but only if they're hung right. We run vinyl-coated steel tension wire between secure anchor points on the house, the patio cover or sturdy support poles, so the lights carry no weight themselves. The result is clean, even lines with no sagging, tangling or strain on the cords, even when the monsoon winds kick up.

Each light strand is fastened to the wire with metal zip ties. Plastic ties turn brittle and snap after a summer or two in the Arizona UV, dropping your lights. Metal ties won't, so your lights stay exactly where we put them for years.

For solar installs, we use high-quality fixtures with replaceable battery packs, so when a battery wears out you swap the pack instead of throwing out the whole set. We only recommend fixtures that stand up to the harsh Arizona sun. For plug-in lights, we can add a smart switch or smart outlet so you can turn them on from your phone, set a schedule, or just say the word to Alexa, Google Home or Apple HomeKit.
